in faux wood. Venetian style faux wood blinds come in both 2-inch slats and 2 1/2-inch slats. Safety tassles on the cords are available. These break away, helping to protect children and pets that might play with the cords. The hardware and cords are color coordinated to give the faux wood blinds a clean streamlined appearance. Closure is more complete when the slats are tilted upward. For extra convenience and safety, composite faux wood blinds can be equipped with motorized action, and can be operated by remote control.
